The most important benefit of HBAGC membership is our involvement in the government and regulatory arenas. By representing members at the local, state, and national levels, HBAGC keeps you in business. When you join HBAGC, you're automatically supporting the association's Government Affairs program, hard at work educating lawmakers and the general public about the ways our members positively impact the economy and the Greater Chattanooga community.

How HBAGC Protects Members

Members are continually kept up to date on industry-impacting laws and regulations. A strong legal action program, with funds available at the local, state, and national levels, works to protect builders from unreasonable barriers and constraints to construction.

HBAGC is also involved in ChattPAC, supporting political engagement on issues that affect the building industry directly.

Because HBAGC membership is a "3-in-1" package, joining automatically enrolls you in the Home Builders Association of Tennessee (HBAT) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). That means your voice is amplified at every level of government, and the association is part of several coalitions working to shape the future of the industry and make sure you have one.
